How it works

All compression happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly codecs. No images are uploaded.

  1. Drop or choose images. They are validated and added to a processing queue.
  2. Pick output formats and tweak quality. Optionally set resize and metadata behavior.
  3. Encoding runs in a background Web Worker using WebAssembly codecs. Progress updates in real time.
  4. When multiple outputs are ready, the smallest is marked as “best”.
  5. Download individual results from the chips, or use “Download All” to get a ZIP.
  6. Your choices are saved locally and restored next time. Nothing is uploaded.
